KD Beta Upsilon had a Sunday afternoon movie day with our local Girl Scouts troop to watch Pocahontas. We had such a great time with the girls and we hope they enjoyed celebrating International Girls Day with us!

We had such a great time getting to know all the underclassemen interested in going Greek this Spring! There was such a great turn out & we met some really amazing girls! We hope that the girls had a good time getting to know us!

There will be a KD open house this Thursday, Novemeber 3rd at 7PM at the KD House! We encourage all girls who are interested in Greek life and Spring Recruitment to stop by the KD house, grab a fall treat and get to know the sisters. We are looking forward to meeting all future PNMs!

KD Beta Upsilon will place donation boxes in SU's campus center and will be promoting this campaign and encouraging other greek organizations and students on campus to get involved and donate! 

Susquehanna Greek Life lost a member of our family. Brother Dave Stefanovige of Pi Kappa Phi passed away last night in a car accident. Kappa Delta Beta Upsilon sends our condolences to the family, friends, and Dave's brothers in Pi Kappa Phi. RIP & forever in our hearts. ♥

Yesterday, Monday September 19th, was the first day of Fall Recruitment! We had such a great time getting to know the girls and look forward to seeing them back on Wednesday! We hope that the other sororities have a great recruitment week! Stay posted for more pictures and news as the week continues! :)

Senior sister Hannah Molitoris was voted Homecoming Queen 2011! Congratulations Hannah you were by far the most beautiful Homecoming Queen ever!! <3

This past weekend (September 16th - 18th) was Homecoming at SU and Beta Upsilon hosted an Alumnae Luncheon on Saturday. Current sisters and alumnae shared stories and memories while enjoying some refreshments made by the house girls. Alumnae toured the KD house, took pictures and had a tailgate behind the house for the football game. We had such a great time and we hope our alumnae did too!

There was also a bench dedication and remembrance ceremony for our sister Marisa Ann Palladino Donit, Class of 1992, and other sisters who have passed.

All this week KD Beta Upsilon will be having a bake sale to benefit International Women's Friendship Month and raise funds for Panhellenic activities this semester. Come stop by the table in the lower level of Deg Campus Center (across from the mailroom) and treat yourself to something sweet!

Girls who are planning on goin throught Informal Fall Recruitment, here are the steps to sign up online! Recruitment is only 2 weeks away and we are getting so excited to meet and get to know all the lovely ladies going through this fall! <3

1. Login to MySU.
2. Click Student Life near the bottom of the blue box on the left.
3. Click Student Activities.
4. Click the greek life folder in the green box.
5. Click the Fall Sorority Recruitment Registration form.
6. Fill out and submit.

It's that time again, every Fall semester Kappa Delta Beta Upsilon has a magazine and jewelry sale to raise funds for The Chapter House Fund which helps chapters upgrade, renovate and redecorate their houses. Here's what you can do:

Kappa Delta will be celebrating its 59th Biennial National Convention on June 29 – July 3, 2011 in Tucson, Arizona. All Kay Dees are encouraged to register for this great convention! Registration has begun and continues 'til April 15th.

The ladies of Kay Dee will be sellings St. Patty's Day Koozies to help raise funds for our Shamrock event later in March. We will be selling them the week after Spring Break (March  14 - 18) in the lower level of Deg across from the mailroom. Koozies will be $4 each and there is a limited quantity!

Kappa Delta Beta Upsilon's Shamrock event is coming up.. Sunday, March 27th! The chapter will be hosting its second annual wing wars. All proceeds go directly to Prevent Child Abuse America. Also, the Tau Kappa Epsilon brothers will be having a brothers auction during the event! 

Tickets are currently being sold for $5 each and include 6 wings and 2 raffles tickets with your purchase! Only tickets that are bought before the day of the event will include wings. Tickets can also be bought at the door on the day of the event for $3 and will include 1 raffle ticket. So find a sister on campus and make sure you get a ticket!
